Wednesday Wink 016

Wednesday Wink 016

So I am going to give away a Christmas gift with this wink, but I think it will be totally worth it! But not before having a cup of coffee and first chocolate milk from Starbucks. Grandparents, do not read on if you don't want your surprise spoiled, otherwise... here we go!
I racked my brain trying to come up with something Liam could give for Christmas this year and I think I found the perfect present at Glazed Over. Glazed Over is a pottery and glass studio where children and adults can create truly one of a kind pieces for themselves and loved ones to cherish for years to come. They have all sorts of tasty treats to enjoy while you channel your inner artist and the best events going on this holiday season. The creative woman are there to help guide you every step of the way! We have some pretty heavy coffee drinkers (eh emm: Pop and GiGi) and so we thought what better gift than to drink from a one of a kind mug from Liam!
Liam took this VERY SERIOUSLY...
I absolutely cannot wait to see how these little beauties turned out!
Liam loved it so much, that we had him paint a Christmas ornament (yes, beautiful pottery glazed Christmas balls available for a mere $8 - $10) for our tree at home and I plan on doing this every year...I mean, the paper ones and play dough cut outs are great, but this is FANTASTIC!!!
This is the only place in Houston that also provides glass work. They have coasters and platters and even bowls to create a one of a kind glass piece. I had to wear goggles which Liam thought was totally cool and went cutting away with glass pieces. One really fun idea was to trace all of our hand prints and fill with tiny pieces of glass glitter. I had as much fun as Liam. I cannot wait to see the melted glass! Merry Christmas!!!

  1. And Dad had fun too, although he was not allowed to display his artistic abilities.
