The Banker's New Home

Sunday, Bill and I had dinner in Pearland with Alisa, Ladd, Jackie and Nick. Nick is quite the handyman around the house installing new floors, cabinets, etc. It was really great to see them in their new home! Congrats guys!

Amazing Vocals!

Saturday we were able to experience the beautiful vocals of Mrs. Ellen Robinson and Mrs. Amy Baker at the CBS Leadership Conference! It was great to be able to see these ladies in action after their long preparation throughout the year! Great job!

Neighbor Fiesta!

Friday night, Bill and I went over to our wonderful neighbor's house (The Ferrari's) for Mexican food and magaritas! We were finally introduced to the game of guitar hero! I never understood this craze... BUT, Don't Knock it Till you Try it! We had a blast! Here are just a few of the pictures (sorry not everyone is in here - next time!)

"Ya-Ya"

Today we went to a luncheon with Ashley and Chris Petersen at the Hilton Americas for the Houston Council. The speaker was the lovely, "Ya-Ya" Ellen Burstyn. Ashley and I even got to take a picture with her!

Hobb's Birthday

Saturday night we traveled to Sugarland to celebrate Wes Hobb's Birthday. Bill had a great time catching up with a couple of his pledge brothers. After dinner at Escalantes, we headed to Christen and Wes's house in Rosenberg where the boys played a round of poker! Their house was really nice and we had such good time!

Howl at the Moon

Last night we went out with Alisa and Ladd to enjoy the music at the piano bar Howl at the Moon. Note to all men: Be careful when leaving your ladies to close out your bar tab as Jethrow, the Italian Jewish guy from New York, just might offer your woman a drink!

3 Days...

"I got three days to wash the road out of my soul
I got three days to love you out of control
And I wish I had a lifetime to hold onto you this way
Love can do some healing in just three days"
"Southbound 35"
Yea for the 3rd night at the Rodeo to see Pat Green! What a fantastic show! Thanks to Maggie for taking care of our little pug, Tucker as he was under the weather while we were out! Seems like our little man is back to normal this morning and I am so excited for the weekend!

Hail in Houston...

As Bill and I were getting ready this Sunday morning, we started to here loud noises coming from the bathroom skylight... It was hailing in Houston! This went on for about 15 -20 minutes and then just stopped. Gotta love Texas weather!

Mutton Bustin!

Friday night Bill and I took it to the Houston Rodeo with Angela and Michael to see Clint Black! Yee Haw to those two for the fantastic seats! We had a really great time! I have to say the Mutton Bustin is my new favorite event followed closely by the calf scramble. Due to the rain, we only managed to get a few pictures, but here they are none the less! Angela and I are crossing our fingers for Pat Green tickets (If you know anyone selling, we are buying! wink!)

Painting Heard 'Round the Office

Isn't my mother an amazing artist? Well, I definitely think so and apparently so does my office! I have several abstract pieces of hers in my office and I have had more people stop by just to see "the painting." Several have even put in requests! Good Job "Momma Lisa."

8 Seconds

Monday I was offered 4 tickets to the Houston Rodeo. Little did I know, they were front row and center! Chris and Ashley scrambled the babysitter and headed out with us to watch all the barrel racing, calf roping, and bull riding we could handle! It was a real hoot and holler!

Meeting Noah Benjamin

Surprise! Little Kerr came early! Noah is the sweetest little boy. Congrats to Ben and Ashley! Here we are meeting him for the first time. Yea!

Miss Holland Elizabeth

Bill and I had an amazing visit to see Lauren and Jason in their new home with their new addition to the family. Holland is the perfect baby! We love you guys!

We Made It!

After living in Houston for almost 4 years, we decided it was time to join the blogging world! We have been so blessed this year! We purchased our very first home and are absolutely loving the neighborhood! I left Accenture to join Spectra Energy in their supply chain department and am truly loving my new job. Bill also left his job at Amegy Bank and took a new position as the Manger of Finance for Blackstone Minerals. We are so excited to see what is in store for 2009!
