Last night as I was clearing memory cards, I ran across these... I am pretty sure it makes me a pretty bad daughter-in-law to forget such an important post... and I have been blessed with a pretty amazing father-in-law so my deepest apologies Pop!

Happy Birthday Jackie
This post is going to be so out of order, but it is way over due... A couple of weeks back we celebrated Jackie's birthday dinner with the girls. While in college I never would have imagined that I would get to continue on my life journey with so many of my Aggie girlfriends. I love getting to share this part of my life with these girls. I love being a mom and sharing in that with Jackie who has the most adorable little girl by the way. She is an incredible mom and I am so blessed that she is in my circle of friends. Jackie is one of the most genuine people and gives some of the best advice, esp when it comes to kids. I appreciate her friendship so much. With all of our increasingly busy schedules, I am so grateful that we set aside time to get together and celebrate. This time it was margaritas, Mexican food and James Avery! Happy Birthday Jackie... love you to pieces and hope you had a wonderful birthday.

All Aboard!
"Believe in what your heart is saying,
Hear the melody that's playing.
Hear the melody that's playing.
There's no time to waste,
There so much to celebrate.
Believe in what you feel inside,
Give your dreams the wings to fly."
You have everything you need, if you just believe."

Celebrating Ashley
Are you tired of reading all of these posts from the past? My New Year's resolution was to go back to earlier times when posts were more timely, but in order to get there.. I must finish out 2010, so I am truly sorry for the delay, Ashley... but Happy Birthday all over again!
The girls gathered after the true November event to celebrate another year of birth at Brio in the City Center. The food was incredible I must say and we had such a great evening.

Sayler is OLD
Okay, so not really... I used to think that 30 sounded so old, but as I stated previously, I cannot wait to turn thirty. Don't get me wrong, I have loved my twenties, but it just seems as though you are not really taken seriously until 30. I feel like thirty gives you some rights. Some rights to not care what others think, some rights on motherhood, some rights on no longer being the "green" one at the office...
Sayler entered into her thirties with grace and beauty. We have such a special friendship and I absolutely love her to pieces! She is just plain fun to be around. Period. She has such a positive attitude on life and our friendship seemed to have happened instantly. Not gonna say love at first sight, cause umm that would be a little weird... but really... we totally bonded. She is a true friend and I am so blessed that she is a part of my life. Happy Birthday sweet Sayler... even if we celebrated almost 2 months ago!

This year, my birthday fell on a very special day. I truly felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I have the most incredible husband who happens to have blessed me with the greatest gift of all, amazing family, and wonderful friends. This birthday is at the top of the charts for sure...

Appiee Birt Aye O' wee
I always wondered what it would be like to have a sister. Someone to share clothes with, go shopping with and stay up late whispering secrets about boys with. Sisters share a special bond. "For there is no friend like a sister, in calm or stormy weather, to cheer one on the tedious way, to fetch one if one goes astray, to lift one if one totters down, to strengthen whilst one stands." (Christina G. Rossetti) And while I may not have a biological sister, I have been blessed to gain a sister through marriage. On October 3rd, it was Aunt Nolie's birthday and we celebrated with dinner. Thank you for being an amazing sister to me and your brother and an incredible aunt to Liam who loves you so much! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Amelia
We picked the perfect group for our small birthday dinners. Not only because we are all good friends and enjoy spending an evening together over food and wine, but because our birthdays seem to be perfectly spaced throughout the year. Other than Ashley and I who messed up the system with back to back birthdays... the timing works out pretty wonderful. And yes, I am so behind on blogging that I am posting last months activities in this month, but I am working on it! promise. September is Amelia's month and we met up at City Center for dinner at Flora and Muse. (M'Lee was there... should have brought out camera earlier and we missed Jackie and Sue Ellen!)

Big Bang Birthday
This year we wanted to do something really special for Bill's birthday because he totally deserves it. Because he would have nothing if it meant that his son and his wife could have everything. It is his selflessness and his giving heart that makes me want to do even more for him. And we found the perfect gift to let him know just how amazing he is. A very special gift to say how much we love and appreciate our husband, daddy, son, brother, son-in-law, and grandson! A present with a Big Bang, just in time for dove season! A voucher for an over-under shot gun, which he has already turned into a beautiful Berreta!

92 Candles
Bill and I have a lot of special memories of our actual wedding day, but another wonderful memory was celebrating his grandmother's birthday at our rehearsal dinner. We have had the opportunity to continue that celebration tradition living so close to her. She is such a remarkable woman and I am so blessed to be a part of her incredible family.

Carin is 30?
I am waiting for thirty. Thirty seems to be the magical number of respect. Thirty means that you are not the 'green' one at the office. That when you speak you have enough years under your belt not to be brushed off. Thirty means that you can officially be a mom. Thirty means you are old. I do not think that saying bye to my twenties will be that big of a deal to me. Because my thirties are gonna rock! I should have enough money saved for vacation and eating Ramen noodles will forever be a thing of the past. You have amazing friendships built by thirty and you are considered 'wiser!' Well, I don't know how wise I will be when I am thirty but thirty is going to be smack dab in the middle of the best years of family! Where the little one's worlds still revolve around mommy, but mommy is still young enough to potentially be called 'hot!' I have heard that 40 is the new 30, so does that make 30 the new 20? Bring them on!
Last Sunday we kissed Carin's twenties goodbye by celebrating with her family and friends on a Sunday afternoon by the pool. It is was so thirty perfect! Carin couldn't look thirty if she tried... I think she is totally considered a thirty hot mamma!
