About a month ago, we made a trip to visit my parents in San Antonio. A fun, relaxing trip to get caught up and share some much needed hugs! We always enjoy GiGi and Pappa visits and this time was no different. Did I ever tell you that one of GiGi's favorite holidays is Halloween? I know, Halloween. right? Maybe that is why I like candy so much. And not the crazy, scary Halloween.. but all that comes with Halloween. Like cooler weather and sweets and pumpkin carving and just the start of the season. Okay, so maybe it is November now and we are still in shorts, but Halloween does officially mark boot season! GiGi bought some age appropriate carving tools and we (ah hem... I) helped Liam to assemble the "pumpkin head" masterpiece.

A visit to SA
Oh my goodness, could I really be a month behind on blog postings? I used to be so much better at this! With all the new activity around Kate Robinson Photography, new project kick-offs at the office and the normal hustle and bustle of everyday Robinson life; I guess I had to let one aspect get a little behind. Trying to give 110% in every activity is just plain hard. And with the holidays approaching this could get out of control! BUT... it will all get digitally documented. Even if it is a month late...

Vacation DESTINation
Destin's sugary white beaches and sparkling crystal waters along the Emerald Coast was the perfect destination for a Johnson Family vacation 2011.

Shine Bright Firefly
Things have been incredibly busy for the Robinson family. I hope to be able to finally catch you up...
So, I will start with the difficult one. Maybe I have been so far behind on posts because this one is so hard.
After a six month battle with cancer, Sarah Chidgey Hughes passed on in peace on February 16, 2011. And so on June 11th, I joined my sorority sisters, friends and family to walk in her honor at the first annual One Step 5K.

Memorial Day Weekend
For Memorial Day we did not make any set plans and that is just how I like it! We got to visit with lots of friends and family and even participated in several fun Houston activities.
Ashley seems to introduce me to all activities kid related. I rely on her a lot for the best places to play, eat, etc. Sometimes I wonder what we would do without her expertise. Then I think... well, we would be Ashley! She is such a great mom and surely paved the way for all us moms coming up behind her! She first introduced us to the Children's museum here. Liam wasn't even crawling at the time! Bill and I thought Liam would be the perfect age to try it again and we were right!

Aggie Grad
Last Friday, Steven drove Liam and I back to Aggieland to celebrate a very special graduate. Bill really wanted to shake the hand of his fellow Aggie and wish him all the best, but he was still recovering so Liam and I represented the Robinson family.

SA Zoo
I am starting to feel the commenting love... Absolutely makes my day!
I am a little behind on blog posting, but stay with me because the posts are coming!
On Sunday, after a visit with Shamu and all of his sea water friends, we decided that we could not leave San Antonio without paying a visit to all our favorite land animal friends at the zoo.

A Playhouse
Last weekend my parents came in town to visit and now that both their children and grandchild live within a 2 mile radius, all their ducklings were together. It has been wonderful to have Uncle Steven so close and Liam just lights up when he makes a stop after work. He has already taught Liam how to make the vroom sound of a car and it is adorable the way he chases him around the house with an arm barrier in case he falls. He is so protective and an incredible uncle. He even changed his diaper like a pro and helped with the incident involving a bath, poop, and a baby!
