6 Year Trophy

Ten years ago, on December 27, 2000 he reached out his hand and asked me to be his. Six and a half years ago, on September 17, 2004 he got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. And six years ago on June 25, 2005 I gave him my hand and my heart. I married my very best friend.

It is amazing how it seems time has gone by so quickly, and yet it feels as though we have already been together for a lifetime. I could not imagine my life without him.

 Without both of them!
I am proud to be on his team. Because being on his team means I have the love and support in all that I am and all that I do. It means never going through it alone. It means laughing together, crying together and everything in between. It means I am on the winning team. And man does winning feel good!
It has been a little bit since we celebrated just the two of us, so Bill arranged a very special stay cation anniversary at the St. Regis while his parents graciously watched Liam at our house. We had our own private corner near the band where we shared a champagne toast and amazing meal.
Then we continued our evening with chocolate covered strawberries and a rose pedal turn down. Bill is full of romantic surprises, even 6 years later.
The next morning, after room service, I received the royal treatment at the spa for a 90 minute massage and then met my sweet husband poolside. It truly felt like a real vacation even if we only traveled a few miles. Happy Anniversary to my champion husband!
I love you forever and always!
