Eight

Last night was the soft opening for a new bar called "Eight" on Washington. It is owned by the same people who own Pub Fiction. It has an awesome outdoor setup and even better inside complete with VIP and a dance floor. Friday is the grand opening, but if it is anything like last night, it is sure to become a favorite spot!

San Antonio Fiesta

This weekend we went to visit my parents in San Antonio for Fiesta! We had a really great time catching up and experiencing just some of what Fiesta had to offer! I know that Bill's favorite part had to be the shopping for Mexican dresses! The only down side? We passed several roasted corn stands, which are my favorite and because of braces... i just had to dream about corn on the cob! BUT, Bill did make up for the corn by dashing across the street to get my favorite drink: A Miami Vice! They were not like the ones on our cruise, but still yummy!

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Last night we celebrated Jeremy's birthday at Little Bigs! It was such a beautiful evening to sit outside. All the girls played pass baby Noah, again. He is the best baby and Bill continues to try and convince Ben and Ashley to make up stories that he is a crier so he'll be off the hook! Wink!

Tuesday night the girls met up at PF Changs to celebrate Jackie Banker's Birthday! We had such a good time passing new baby Noah Kerr around and catching up! Afterwards, we headed for some drinks at The Remmington Bar.

Botox? No, Braces!

So, as many of you know, I recently got braces this past Monday. The good news is that they hope to re-align my jaw with braces rather than surgery... The bad news is that I have braces. For those of you who know me really well... I have an addiction to jelly beans and coke Zero: Two things that I had to quit cold turkey! I am going to be dreaming of beans and caffeine for about 2 years... Man, what did I ever do to you?

Here is a not so great picture that i took with my iPhone just so you can see my new good looks! (Seriously, between getting my wires hooked on my cheeks, rubbing blisters, talking funny, and having metal on my teeth, I am one hot catch!)

Houston wears a Crown!

Friday night, Bill and I went to El Tiempo to celebrate Sarah's Birthday. I was so happy to be able to catch up with the girls! I have truly missed them and am so glad that they are here in Houston! So, I started counting the Zeta's that I know of that are here in Houston now... and I think Houston's crown has 12 jewels! wink! Absolutely love each and every one of these girls!

La Griglia Girl's Night

So... backing up a couple days, Last Thursday, we had a girls evening and went out for drinks and pizza bread at La Griglia. I had just gotten my large spacers so my smile is a little off, but none the less I had a great time and even met some new Houston girls! Yea!

April Showers Bring May Weddings!

This week has been pretty busy for us. We lost our third grandfather of the year and traveled to Corsicana for the funeral. I got spacers put in to prepare me for lovely braces - someone should have warned me of the pain of spacers! There is only one good thing about having braces as an adult: WINE! 

Saturday night Bill and I went to a couples wedding shower for Amelia and Jeremy. Congrats you guys! We had such a good time and afterwards we went out to The Roof for an after party. (and no that is not food in my teeth, they are my purple spacers! Just wait till next week's post when i have a metal mouth!)
